We have completely redesigned the inventory system in Grand Mobile. It is no longer just a list of items but a convenient hub for managing all of your character's possessions. The inventory now features a new structure, improved clarity, and greater flexibility.
Below you will find a detailed overview of every change.
New Inventory Structure
The inventory is now divided into five separate sections, each responsible for its own category of items.
Clothing — Stores all outfits (skins) and clothing items.
Accessories — Contains cosmetic items that can be equipped on the head, face, back, and other body parts.
Weapons — Includes everything related to weapons and body armor.
Items — Items are divided into three categories:
Unique Items — special items with unique mechanics, such as skateboards, balloons, jetpacks, and flyboards;
Consumables — medkits, food, and other items that are consumed upon use;
Resources — materials required for crafting, quests, or selling to NPC buyers.
Crafting — The standard crafting system remains unchanged.
The actions available for an item depend on the section where it is located. More details about each item type can be found below.
Unlimited Inventory
The inventory no longer has a limit on the number of items you can store. You may keep an unlimited amount of clothing, accessories, consumables, and unique items without worrying about running out of space.
❗ Exception: Weapon and resource categories still have storage limits.
Item Search and Sorting
Every inventory section now includes a search bar. Simply start typing an item's name, and it will be found instantly.
You can also sort items by:
Date acquired (newest first)
Rarity (rarest first)
Unified Item Rarity System
Item rarity is now standardized across the entire game. This means an item's rarity is displayed consistently everywhere:
➡️In the inventory,
➡️On the Marketplace,
➡️In trades and mail.
How Items Are Grouped in the Inventory
Previously, the inventory was displayed as a grid of individual slots that could be moved and separated. The new system works differently: identical items are automatically stacked into a single slot, with the quantity displayed next to them. This makes the inventory cleaner and much easier to manage.
Regular items are stacked into a single slot. If you acquire another medkit, for example, the counter simply increases by one.
Temporary items are stored separately from permanent items of the same type. If you receive another temporary copy, its duration is added to the existing timer, while the quantity always remains equal to one.
Restricted Items. Items that cannot be traded or sold are also grouped into a single slot with a quantity counter, preventing unnecessary clutter.
Favorites
In the Customization section, you can add items to your Favorites list.
This is especially useful if you own a large collection of clothing and accessories, allowing quick access to your most-used items.
Clothing and Accessories Sections
The Clothing section is divided into four categories:
Outfit
Top
Bottom
Shoes
Character Preview
When opening the customization menu, your character is displayed directly within the interface. The camera focuses on the character, allowing you to immediately see how equipped items look.
Equipment slots are shown next to the character depending on the selected category. If a slot is occupied, simply click it to unequip the item.
Accessory Slots
Accessories can be equipped on different parts of the body:
Headwear
Masks and glasses
Backpacks and back accessories
Chest and torso
Shoulders
Left hand
Right hand
Legs
Available Actions
Equip / Unequip. Equip an item or remove it from your character.
Delete. Remove an item from your inventory.
If you own multiple copies, a dialog window will allow you to select the amount to delete.
The interface will also display how many threads you will receive from recycling the item.
⚠️ Important: Equipped items cannot be deleted. They must be unequipped first.
Weapons Section
The Weapons section contains two item types:
Body armor
Weapons
Weapon Slots
The interface displays dedicated slots for each weapon type and armor.
Each slot shows the current ammunition count. The standard ammunition limit is 1,000 rounds.
Using Items
By clicking Use, you can specify how many units to activate.
Armor: from 1 to 100 units
Weapons: from 1 to the maximum available amount
Body armor is only visible on the character while active. Once its durability is depleted, the visual model is removed automatically.
Items Section
Resources
Resources are materials gathered throughout the game and sold to NPC buyers. They appear as a simple list with quantities displayed. No actions can be performed on resources directly from the inventory, including deletion. This behavior remains unchanged.
Consumables
Consumables include medkits, food, and other single-use items. Pressing Use consumes one unit and immediately activates its effect. No quantity selection is required. Consumables can also be deleted from the inventory.
Certain consumables, such as repair kits, can be used directly through the quick-access menu without opening the inventory.
Unique Items
This category contains special items with unique gameplay mechanics:
Skateboards
Balloons
Jetpacks
Flyboards
Summon. Activates the item and launches its functionality, such as spawning a skateboard or balloon.
The item count does not decrease.
Return. Stops usage and removes the item.
Delete. Removes the item from the inventory after confirmation.
Related Systems
Item Trading
The trade window now supports items from the following categories:
Outfits
Accessories
Clothing
Weapons
Consumables
Unique Items
Temporary items and trade-locked items are not displayed in the trade interface.
How Trading Works
The trade screen displays two panels:
Your offer
The other player's offer
Each panel also shows the amount of in-game currency being offered.
Minimum amount: 0
Maximum amount: 200,000,000
Once both players are satisfied, they press Ready. A 10-second countdown begins. If either player modifies the offer during this period, the timer resets. If no changes are made before the timer expires, the trade is completed automatically.
⚠️ Everything displayed in the trade window is synchronized in real time. Item lists and currency amounts must match for both players at all times.
Mail is now a fully functional item storage system. Mail categories mirror the inventory:
Outfits
Accessories
Clothing
Consumables
Unique Items
Items can remain in the mailbox indefinitely. Nothing is removed automatically. Only you decide what happens to your stored items.
Mail Actions
Claim. Moves an item into your inventory (or preferred storage based on settings). A confirmation dialog appears before completion.
Delete. Permanently removes an item from the mailbox after confirmation.
Sending Items to Mail
The Store Item button opens your inventory and allows you to send selected items to mail storage.
Temporary and trade-locked items can also be stored via mail. Like the inventory, the mailbox has no item limit.
Marketplace
The Marketplace receives a visual overhaul while keeping its core functionality unchanged: listing items for sale for a specified period of time.
Fixes
Several issues have been resolved:
Unique items that should not be duplicated can no longer be listed multiple times.
Sorting from lowest to highest price now works correctly.
Average item prices are displayed accurately.
When purchasing large quantities of items, a dedicated input field allows direct quantity entry instead of repeatedly pressing the "+" button.
Safes and Storage
The item management interface for safes now works similarly to the trade system and includes a dedicated Weapons section. Your items are displayed on one side of the screen, while safe storage slots are displayed on the other.
When withdrawing weapons, you must specify how many units to take.
Family Safe
The Family Safe can now be expanded. The number of available slots depends on your family's upgrades. By default, a Family Safe contains 15 slots.
Clothing Store
The Clothing Store has been visually updated and now includes a new Clothing category.
It contains three subcategories:
Tops (T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, etc.)
Bottoms (pants, shorts, etc.)
Shoes
Clothing and accessories purchased with premium currency have been removed. Only items available for regular in-game currency are now displayed.
Fitting Room
The fitting room now supports real-time previews.
When trying on clothing, skins, or accessories, you immediately see how they look on your character directly within the interface. Accessory previews, which previously did not function correctly, have now been fixed. In addition, the camera automatically focuses on the relevant body part:
Equipping shoes zooms toward the character's feet.
Equipping upper-body clothing focuses on the torso area.
Character Customization
How It Works
The customization system allows you to create a character appearance from separate clothing pieces.
It supports two base character types:
Male
Female
Items are gender-specific and can only be equipped by the corresponding character type.
Appearance Modes
Outfit (Skin). A complete character model, similar to skins available in previous versions of the game. Equipping an outfit replaces all clothing at once.
Modular Clothing. A new mode that allows you to combine separate items:
Top
Bottom
Shoes
Mix and match freely to create your own look.
Clothing Slots
Characters have four equipment slots:
Top
Bottom
Shoes
Outfit
Equipping a new item automatically removes the previous item occupying that slot. If an outfit is currently equipped, it will be removed automatically when switching to modular clothing. Likewise, equipping an outfit while wearing modular clothing clears all three clothing slots and equips the full outfit.
Any item can be unequipped at any time, leaving the slot empty.
Frequently Asked Questions
I want to delete an item, but the button is unavailable. Why?
The item is most likely equipped on your character. Unequip it first, then delete it. If the item belongs to the Resources category, it cannot be deleted at all and can only be consumed through the appropriate game mechanics.
I received another temporary item, but the quantity did not increase. Is this normal?
Yes. Temporary items always have a quantity of one. Receiving another copy simply extends the item's remaining duration.
Why are two identical items displayed in separate slots?
One of them is either temporary or restricted. Such items are stored separately from regular versions to avoid confusion.
Can I list a restricted item on the Marketplace?
No. Restricted items cannot be traded, sold, or exchanged. They remain permanently bound to the character.
If I remove and re-equip an accessory, will its position settings be saved?
No. The accessory resets to its default position when re-equipped. You will need to adjust its placement again.
What happens to trunk storage?
With the new system, vehicle trunks will no longer function as item storage. All items stored there will be transferred to your inventory when you:
Load the vehicle on the server;
Interact with the trunk.
A warning message will appear informing you that trunk storage is no longer available, and the items will be transferred immediately. A chat notification will also confirm the added items.
Can resources still be traded or sold?
No. Resources can no longer be sold or transferred. Their sole purpose is now accumulation for crafting and related progression systems.
