🚗Black List

Updated this week

Black List is a large seasonal event in Grand Mobile focused on car theft, racing, and open-world PvP activities.

In this guide, we break down all the mechanics in detail: how vehicle theft works, what affects rewards, how to progress through the event, and how to compete in the leaderboards.

🧭 Event Overview (Simple Explanation)

At the center of the event are car theft contracts.

You take a contract, locate a specific vehicle, hack it, and attempt to deliver it to the designated drop-off point.

However, it’s not as simple as it sounds:

  • the vehicle must be hacked through a mini-game

  • other players may hunt you down

  • vehicle breakdowns can occur during the delivery

  • the mission has a time limit

The better you complete the task, the greater the reward.

🎮 Main Event Activities

There are three types of gameplay activities in the event.

Contracts

This is the core activity of the event.

A contract is a mission that looks like this:
“Steal a specific vehicle and deliver it to the drop-off point.”

Completing contracts grants:

  • Tokens (the main event currency)

  • Reputation

  • Event progress

Races

Races are the main source of reputation.

If you don’t have enough reputation to unlock new contracts, you’ll need to participate in races to continue progressing in the event.

Countering Other Players

You can also interfere with other car thieves:

  • attack their vehicle

  • disrupt the delivery

  • destroy the car

These actions also grant rewards.

🚀 How to Start Participating

Open the event interface.

Complete the tutorial.

Take your first contract.

The tutorial is mandatory — without completing it, the event will not unlock.

🎓 Tutorial — What Happens During It

The tutorial takes 5–10 minutes and introduces all the key mechanics of the event:

  • how the event interface works

  • how to take a contract

  • how to hack vehicles

  • how vehicle delivery works

  • how races function

After completing the tutorial, all players start the event under roughly equal conditions.

⚠️ If you leave during the tutorial, you will need to complete it again from the beginning.

You can also replay the tutorial later if something is unclear. To do this, open the Information tab and press “Replay Tutorial.”

How a Contract Works — Step by Step

A contract consists of four stages.

Step 1. Take a Contract

You select an available mission in the event menu.

Important:

  • contracts cannot be skipped

  • the next contract unlocks only after completing the previous one

Step 2. Find the Vehicle

A search zone appears on the map.

Inside this area is the target vehicle required for the mission.

Only that specific car counts for the contract — other vehicles will not work.

Step 3. Hacking the Vehicle (Mini-Game)

This is the key mechanic of the contract.

A circle with symbols appears on the screen.

Your task is to:

  • memorize the symbol combination

  • repeat it quickly

  • avoid mistakes

If the hack is successful:

  • you enter the car

  • the delivery phase begins

If the hack fails:

  • the car still unlocks, but:

    • the alarm activates

    • other players can detect you faster

    • the delivery timer becomes shorter

This means the hacking result directly affects the difficulty of the contract.

Step 4. Deliver the Vehicle

Once you get into the car, the main phase begins.

You will see:

  • a timer

  • the delivery point

  • the vehicle durability indicator

Your goal is to reach the delivery point before:

  • time runs out

  • the vehicle is destroyed.

Vehicle Durability

Each vehicle has a hidden durability parameter.

Durability decreases from:

  • collisions

  • falls

  • attacks from other players

Why this matters:

  • the lower the durability, the smaller the reward

  • at 0% durability, the contract fails

Even minor crashes can reduce the final payout for the mission.

Random Malfunctions

During delivery, random issues may occur.

They appear unexpectedly and make the vehicle theft more challenging.

Electrical Issues

The car may start jerking or losing speed.

You can:

  • quickly fix it through a mini-game

  • ignore it (the car will continue to stutter)

GPS Signal Loss

The map marker disappears.

You can either:

  • repair the system

  • navigate from memory

Engine Overheating

Driving at very high speeds may cause the engine to overheat.

If ignored, the vehicle’s maximum speed will decrease.

Flat Tire

The car becomes harder to control.

You can:

  • repair the tire

  • continue driving with reduced handling

Contract Modifiers

Sometimes a contract starts with additional difficulty modifiers.

For example:

  • increased fuel consumption

  • no brakes

  • a mined vehicle

  • more complex delivery conditions

These modifiers are displayed in the contract description before you start.

More difficult contracts offer higher rewards.

When a Contract Fails

A contract is considered failed if:

  • the timer runs out

  • the vehicle is destroyed

  • your character dies

  • you leave the game

  • you move too far away from the vehicle

If a contract fails, no rewards are given.

However, reputation is not deducted.

How to Survive During Delivery

Tips:

  • avoid driving on straight highways

  • stay away from city centers

  • repair malfunctions quickly

  • monitor the vehicle’s durability

Later in the event, you can also upgrade stealth to reduce the risk of being detected.

Countering Car Thieves

Black List is not only about stealing vehicles — it also includes competitive mechanics between players. When one player is trying to deliver a stolen car, others can intervene and attempt to stop them from completing the contract.

Any nearby player can join the counteraction and try to intercept the car thief.

How to Know When a Theft Is Happening

When a player starts delivering a stolen vehicle, nearby players receive a notification about the contract.

The notification shows:

  • the theft area

  • the vehicle class

  • a “Track” button

After pressing the button, the contract will be added to your tracking, allowing you to start pursuing the target.

How to Start Countering

You can join the counteraction in two ways.

1. Through the Notification

Press the “Track” button.
A map marker will appear showing the location of the stolen vehicle.

2. Through the Event Menu

Open the section:

Contracts → Counteraction

Here you will see active thefts within your radius.

The list displays:

  • the car thief’s nickname

  • the distance to the target

  • the contract type

  • the remaining time

You can track only one contract at a time.

What Happens After Tracking

Once tracking begins:

  • the stolen vehicle’s position appears on the map

  • when you get visual contact, a target marker appears above the car

This makes it easier to quickly locate the thief and begin the pursuit.

How You Can Stop the Theft

Players can use any in-game methods to prevent the vehicle from being delivered:

  • shoot the car

  • ram it

  • cut it off on the road

  • block the route with vehicles

If the vehicle is completely destroyed, the contract is considered failed.

System Restrictions

There are several rules when participating in counteraction.

Players cannot:

  • enter the stolen vehicle

  • drive it

  • complete the contract instead of the thief

The vehicle always remains assigned to the player who accepted the contract.

Rewards for Counteraction

Players who participate in stopping a car thief receive:

  • event reputation

  • in-game currency

The reward amount depends on the outcome:

  • if the theft is stopped, the reward increases

  • if the vehicle is delivered, the reward depends on how much damage was dealt to the car

Important: rewards are granted only to players who started tracking the contract.

Example of successful counteraction:

Example of unsuccessful counteraction:

Races

Many players think the event is only about car theft — that’s a misconception.

Races provide:

  • a large portion of event reputation

  • access to new contracts

If you get stuck in progression, participating in races is the best way to move forward.

Types of Races

There are several race formats in the event:

  • Sprint (from point A to point B)

  • Circuit races

  • Elimination mode

The higher your finishing position, the greater the reward.

Singleplayer Race Type: Sprint

Singleplayer Race Type: Circuit Race

Multiplayer Race Type: Last Man Standing

Multiplayer Race Type: Sprint

Multiplayer Race Type: Circuit Race

Character Upgrades

During the event, you can upgrade character skills.
These upgrades significantly affect how difficult the event feels and how efficiently you can complete contracts.

Hacker

Improves the vehicle hacking mini-game:

  • more time to complete the sequence

  • fewer possible mistakes

  • a chance for automatic hacking

Field Mechanic

Focused on vehicle survivability during delivery:

  • reduced vehicle damage

  • fewer random malfunctions

  • automatic repair over time

False Trails

Designed for PvP situations:

  • less accurate marker for enemies tracking you

  • delay in location updates for pursuers

  • temporary disappearance from the map

Rankings and Leaderboards

The event features a competitive ranking system. Players compete with each other by completing contracts, participating in races, and earning event points.

The more actively a player participates, the higher they climb in the leaderboards and the more valuable rewards they can receive.

Two types of rankings are used in the event.

Personal Ranking

When a player enters the event for the first time, they are automatically placed into a small group of participants.

Each group contains a limited number of players.
Players compete only within their group, not against the entire server.

Ranking within the group is based on the number of leaderboard points earned during the current event period.

Features of the local ranking:

  • the leaderboard updates every few days

  • points count only for the current period

  • when the period ends, the ranking resets and a new stage begins

At the end of each period:

  • the best players receive rewards

  • players may be promoted to a higher league

  • promotion happens gradually — no more than one league per period

This system allows players to compete against opponents with similar activity levels.

Global Ranking

In addition to local groups, the event also includes a server-wide global leaderboard.

This ranking includes all players on the server participating in the event.

Positions are determined by the total amount of event reputation earned.

This leaderboard shows who the best car thief on the server is.

Ranking Rewards

Players who achieve high positions in the rankings receive special rewards.

Depending on the type of ranking, rewards may include:

  • cases

  • cosmetic items

  • unique event rewards

  • exclusive vehicles

  • special titles

Some rewards are unique and can only be obtained once.
Vehicles earned during the event cannot be traded or sold to other players.

Event Shop

In the Shop tab, players can spend event resources to obtain various items that help complete contracts faster and more safely.

The shop includes several categories.

Consumables

Consumables help deal with different problems that may occur during contracts and vehicle deliveries.

Available items include:

  • Fuel Canister — used when the increased fuel consumption modifier is active.

  • Wiring Repair Kit — instantly fixes electrical issues without playing the mini-game.

  • GPS Repair Kit — restores navigation if GPS problems occur.

  • Tire Patch — repairs a flat tire.

  • Engine Cooling — removes engine overheating and allows you to continue driving at high speed.

These items are especially useful during difficult contracts with multiple malfunctions or modifiers.

Progress Boosters

The shop also offers special boosters that allow players to progress through the event faster.

Players can purchase:

  • x2 Contract Reputation — increases the reputation gained from successful deliveries for a certain number of contracts.

  • x2 Race Reputation — increases rewards for participating in races.

  • Contract Insurance — allows you to restart a failed contract for free.

  • Cooldown Reduction — shortens the waiting time between contracts.

These items do not give a direct leaderboard advantage, but they make the event more convenient and efficient to play.

Cases

The shop also offers reward cases.

Cases can contain various event items and bonuses.
There are several types of cases, each with different possible rewards.

Fuel

Fuel acts as the energy system for starting contracts and races.

If a player runs out of fuel, it can be replenished by pressing the “+” icon near the fuel indicator, allowing you to continue participating in the event without waiting.

Cosmetic Items

Players can also purchase cosmetic rewards such as:

  • skins

  • accessories

  • unique vehicles

These items do not affect progression, but allow players to stand out among other event participants.

Unique Vehicle Mechanic

Some vehicles in the shop are initially locked.

To unlock them:

The player must complete a contract involving the theft of that specific vehicle model.

After a successful delivery, the vehicle becomes available in the shop showcase.

It will also receive a temporary discount available only during the event period.

This mechanic allows players to test the vehicle during a contract first, and then purchase it later at a reduced price if they wish.

Important Notes

  • Driving licenses are not required to participate in the event.

  • Leaving the game counts as a failed contract.

  • You can leave the vehicle temporarily, but not for long.

  • Failed contracts do not reduce reputation.

  • Contracts cannot be skipped.

After the Event Ends

When the season ends:

  • leaderboards will disappear

  • event tokens will be removed

  • seasonal rewards will be disabled

However:

  • the vehicle theft system will remain

  • races will remain

  • some mechanics will become permanent activities

In other words, the event will transition into permanent game content, but with smaller rewards.
